Marie is a choreographer/ creative producer/dance teacher based in Munich.
The main focus of her work lies on theatre for young audiences and community-based theatre projects.

Her work aims to create a poetic and humoresque atmosphere in which the magic of everyday life rituals can unfold - often combining physical theatre, spoken word, clowning and a strong set design.

In 2019, she created the piece "Rococons - ein Bericht über Marie A." which sets the persona of Marie Antoinette in the context of the Friday for Future Movement exploring questions and forms of hierarchy, protest culture and the need for fundamental change.

From 2021-23 she co-created and toured together with Sophie Nüzel "The Greenhouse" a piece about the senses of plants for an audience aged 4+ which has been showcased  in various venues in the UK and Germany.

In 2021 -23 she co-created and toured together with Rose Fock "Fensterln" a piece about sorrow and death for young audiences aged 6+.

Marie enjoys working with a variety of people of different backgrounds finding new ways to express, communicate and talk through the body and forming communities through common artistic work.

In this context "Search in(g) Bodies" was developed - a performance project for elderly people creating theatre pieces as well as workshop programs for people over 65 in the Swiss mountains (www.searchingbodies.com)

Marie holds a BA in Politics&History from LMU and a MA in the field between performance and design from Zurich University of the Arts and is a Certified teacher by the Royal Academy of Dance.
